The thing we love about these beans is that they hold up well to the long and often hot cooking of soup and chili dishes - and the skins are tender. They take on the flavor of the dish or can be served alone with spices or base flavorings.
Excellent in a salad served cold or hot with ham hocks or chicken meat. They are very good source of protein and fiber.
