Very Popular! A short season bean from the Hutterite people of Montana and grown on the ranch in California.
The thing we love about these beans is that they hold up well to the long and often hot cooking of soup and chili dishes – and the skins are tender. They take on the flavor of the dish or can be served alone with spices or base flavorings.
Excellent in a salad served cold or hot with ham hocks or chicken meat. They are a very good source of protein and fiber.
