Description
Lina’s Great Grandmother is reported to have brought these beautiful beans with her on a covered wagon when settling in what is now the mid-west long ago. The family has grown them with neighbors and neighbors enjoying them for well over a hundred years. The beans do resemble tiny bird eggs and hold their skin in cooking, offering and beautiful soft bite and satisfying flavor. We use them in several of our dishes and also with our seasoning envelope in our packaged Chili Mix. If you like Pinto – you will fall in love with Lina!
